LACONIA — Dr. Dan McMcMillan, founder of Save Democracy in America, will be speaking at the Laconia Rotary Club at the Historic Belknap Mill, 25 Beacon St. E., on Thursday, June 29 at noon.
Dan first came to New Hampshire in the 1980s for ice climbing near North Conway and St. Johnsbury, Vermont. A dedicated rock climber in his youth, Dan has made three ascents of El Capitan in Yosemite Valley — the highest rock wall in North America.
