LACONIA — In the modern digital landscape, cybersecurity awareness has never been more important. How should a New Hampshire resident protect themself in the ever-evolving world of scams, fraud, and cybercrime? Find out how to protect oneself in a special training session at Laconia Public Library on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 10:30 a.m.
This training session, presented by The ATOM Group Municipal Cyber Defense Program, is designed to help the public better understand today’s cyber threats. Participants will learn how to recognize warning signs, avoid common pitfalls, and respond effectively to digital threats, building confidence and safety in everyday online activity.
The Municipal Cyber Defense Program, led by The ATOM Group in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the New Hampshire Department of Information Technology, is a grant-funded initiative focused on strengthening cybersecurity across the state’s municipalities. The program works to enhance local cyber defense capabilities and build a more secure, resilient digital infrastructure for New Hampshire communities.
