LACONIA — Courtney Stairs, director of the Easterseals Veterans Count program, will be the guest speaker at the Knights of Columbus' Holy Spirit Disabled Veterans Services coffee and donuts open house at 10 a.m. on Friday May 15.Â
Veterans Count provides a safety net of critical case management and emergency financial assistance to meet the unexpected needs of service members, veterans, and their families, including mental health counseling, housing stabilization, substance use treatment coordination, benefits and resource connection, and emergency financial assistance. Their services are available for all who have served in the military, regardless of service era, discharge status, or VA eligibility.
Any veteran, active military personnel, or those wishing to support our vets are invited.
The open house is located at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 314 S. Main St. Parking is available in the rear of the building and access is via the rear door.
The Knights of Columbus sponsor an informal coffee and donuts open house every Friday morning, 10 a.m. to noon, open to all veterans. Advocate services and materials are available.
