Community conversations at the Tapply-Thompson Community Center

BRISTOL — All residents of Bristol and the surrounding region are invited to attend a Community Conversations event on Sept. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. being held at the Tapply-Thompson Community Center, on 30 N. Main St. in Bristol. This event is being facilitated by NH Humanities and the Community Development Finance Authority and will kick off conversations focused on strengthening communities, exploring new opportunities, and talking with friends and neighbors about important issues facing the region.

Following the meeting, a constructive consensus will be developed and shared to help address the ideas and themes that emerge from the conversation. Each host community will receive grant funding to bring the ideas and themes from these conversations to life through community-led projects launching later this year. 

TTCC was able to apply and receive this opportunity on behalf of the Town of Bristol. At the end of this meeting, there will be a better idea of what some of the immediate needs are for Bristol. This also comes with $3,000 in potential funding toward a project that is chosen.
