MOULTONBOROUGH — Castle in the Clouds reports that its recent Chili and Beer Tasting fundraiser was a great success, with more than 200 attendees sampling local chili, beer, and spirits.
The event, now in its second year, helps to raise money for restoration projects, including the castle’s sun parlor and the exterior of its north tower.
Lifetime Benefits Group sponsored the event, with participating vendors being Annie’s Café & Catering, Great Events Catering, Hart’s Turkey Farm Catering, the Carriage House Restaurant, Yankee Smokehouse, Hobbs Tavern & Brewing Company, Kettlehead Brewing Company, Lone Wolfe Brewing Co., Moat Mountain Smokehouse & Pub, Moat Mountain Brewing Company, Tamworth Distilling, and Tuckerman Brewing.
The castle’s Carriage House Restaurant is open for winter dining through March 31, offering Friday dinner and music from 4 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a Sunday brunch buffet from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
