SANDWICH — Camp Hale will host its second plunge fundraiser at Squam Lake on Saturday, Oct. 11. Funds will benefit the camp's youth programming. This year’s fundraising goal is $30,000.
Camp Hale serves 5-to-17 year olds each summer with the goal of increasing their sense of well-being, independence, and leadership skills. Providing a multi-cultural experience, campers meet and interact with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Cabins comprise of diverse groups who eat, sleep, work, play, and travel together. Respect for others and the celebration of differences are integrated into all aspects of camp activities.
