LACONIA — The public is invited to attend a bipartisan Candidates Forum for those candidates who are seeking to be elected as a NH Representative for Laconia Wards 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in November. Free and open to the public, the forum will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 7-9 p.m. at the Belknap Mill, 25 Beacon St. East.

At the forum, Democrat and Republican candidates for NH Representatives, listed on the General Election ballot in November for Laconia — Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, will have the opportunity to share their views on important local issues with voters.

The moderator will be Liz Tentarelli, president of the League of Women Voters of New Hampshire. Audience members will have an opportunity to submit questions in writing.

Rev. Dr. Judith Wright, UUSL minister, said, "We're really excited about this public event for voters. It has been a while since a bipartisan candidates forum has been held in Laconia. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, our church encourages nonpartisan discussions around local issues, and does not recommend or endorse candidates.”
