LACONIA — The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction needs your help in collecting items early for this year’s auction. In partnership with MI-BOX Moving and Mobile Storage and Belknap Marketplace, in Belmont, two collection days will be held:
Friday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, Nov 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dropping off new, unused and unwrapped items for the Children’s Auction is easy. Donors can drive up to the bank branch, fill out a simple form, leave the item with the volunteer, and drive away.
The auction is looking for new, unused items, big and small. Gifts cards are always a hit with bidders. Other popular items include electronics, tools, tickets to sporting events, experiences, toys, services — you name it, it's needed.
“Many thanks to MI-BOX Moving and Mobile Storage, and Belknap Marketplace for making these special collection days possible,” said Jennifer Kelley, auction executive director.
Belknap Market Place is located at 96 Daniel Webster Hwy.
