LACONIA — The Belknap Mill invites crafters to try its new upcoming classes or workshops in June.

On Saturday, June 8, learn to dye wool yarn using food coloring. Attendees will leave with their own colorful creations, and future Belknap Mill workshops will give you a chance to put that yarn to use. No registration is required for this workshop.

Saturday, June 22, is the Paint with Wool Workshop. Join in for a morning of relaxing fun while creating a beautiful bumblebee design painting with wool. Attendees will leave the class with a finished project and a knowledge of needle felting. No experience necessary.

Take a Hand Spindling Workshop on Saturday, June 29. Hand spindling is a fun and easy way to explore the fiber arts. In this three-hour workshop, attendees will learn the basic “spin and park” method of hand spinning wool fiber. No experience necessary.
