BRISTOL — The award-winning Shana Stack Band will perform as part of Bristol’s free summer concert series on Thursday, July 27, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., in Kelley Park.
The group has been named Band of the Year by the New England Music Awards, Country Artist of the Year by Limelight Magazine, Country Band of the Year and Fans Choice Award by the Independent Country Music Association and Country Act of the Year by the New England Music Awards.
The band has performed shows across New England at a variety of large venues and has released four albums of original music, as well as a mini EP, that featured their single "I Need A Day," for which they also released a music video.
Their music can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, YouTube and by visiting their music page at shanastack.com/listen.
Their original music was written by band member Ed Leavitt, who passed away after a battle with cancer in 2020.
Concerts in the park are “BYOC” (bring your own chair) and refreshments and barbecue will be available from the Bristol Fire Company.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Historic Town Hall on Summer Street.
Kelly Park is located at 41 N. Main St.
