TILTON ― The work of artists Teresa Spinner and Jim Lambert are on display from now through Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Martinez Studio and gallery in downtown Tilton.

Lambert is a cherished local artisan with an incredible eye and creative method of working many print overlays into modern collages. He is also well known for his three dimensional wood and cardboard cutouts. His work is among the collections of well-known art collectors like former President Bill Clinton.

Spinner is a portrait and landscape artist who is acclaimed both locally and globally, especially in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Munich, Germany where she lived for many years. Spinner will show some of her well-known classic landscapes and portraits, as well as her most recent work in both genres.

This opening is a celebration of fine art and folk art, bringing together two very accomplished local artists who have added color and creativity to the community for decades.

Elizabeth Martinez, the owner of the gallery, is an abstract pastel artist who uses the space as her private studio.

Visiting hours at the gallery, at 279 Main St., are by appointment only. Call 603-520-0792.
