MEREDITH ― Congratulations to Inter-Lakes eighth grader, Laila Kimball, for being chosen for the April Laker of the Month.
Kimball is a kind, dedicated, and determined student who consistently puts forth her best effort, even when the work is challenging. She approaches difficult tasks with perseverance, never giving up and always striving to improve. When she needs support, she is proactive and seeks it out. Beyond her academics, she is a kind and dependable friend. She treats others with respect and honesty. She is not afraid to stand up for others, doing what is right in situations that may go against what others may be doing. Her positive attitude, work ethic, and integrity make her an excellent example of what being a Laker is all about.
