LACONIA — Start the holiday season with a joyous performance of well-loved Irish classics and original compositions from the New England Irish Harp Orchestra on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Laconia.

The New England Irish Harp Orchestra has been captivating audiences with traditional Irish music across New England and Ireland for 20 years. Directed by Regina Delaney, a New Hampshire State Council on the Arts artist, the ensemble includes members from New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Delaney was recently honored with the NH Governor’s Arts Award for Folk Heritage for her significant contributions to traditional folk art and the cultural community.

This performance presents a blend of lively Irish music, perfect for celebrating the season, alongside soulful traditional pieces that will immerse guests in a festive spirit and radiate the joy of the holidays.

Organized by the Laconia Historical & Museum Society in partnership with the Laconia Putnam Fund, this special event celebrates the conclusion of a year-long tribute to Laconia’s rich Irish heritage.

This event is free and open to the community, but seating is limited. RSVP by phone at 603-524-1728, email at info@laconiahistory.com, or online at laconiahistory.com by Friday, Dec. 5.
