ALTON — Dakota Smart, 20-year-old singer, songwriter from Alton, has been nominated for two 2021 New England Music Awards. This young NH native has been making his mark on the music scene starting with a US tour, with an opening band with Legendary Three Dog Night at the age of 18. His original music can now be heard on all streaming platforms. His songs have been featured on local radio stations to include 92.5 The River, Boston, and 104.9 The Hawk.
He was awarded Top Solo Performer at the HardRock Café Boston, MA in 2020. His brand new 12 song Album is due to be released this fall and has already had spins on commercial radio stations. Keep an eye on Dakota’s music career as he climbs the charts. He’s proud to be from a close knit community in NH where he’s learned the value of hard work and perseverance.
