Pyareo Home announces new administrator

 

SANBORNTON — Denise Haddocks has been named administrator of Pyareo Home assisted living, Peter Bacon, president of the Board of Directors has announced.

A resident of Sanbornton, Haddocks comes to Pyareo Home with an extensive background in nursing and administration. Most recently she was the director of nursing and clinical services for a large home health care provider in New Hampshire.

Previously, Haddocks served as director of nursing and clinical services for Brookdale Home Health in Florida. Prior to Brookdale, Denise was a geriatrics nurse for BayCare Health in Florida. She began her nursing career at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro after receiving a nursing degree from New Hampshire Technical College in 1997.

As a nurse educator, Denise has taught pediatric open heart nursing as well as practicing pediatric open heart, critical care.

For the past 14 years Haddocks has volunteered with Heart Care International, participating in mission trips to the Dominican Republic for pediatric open heart surgery. Sixty open heart surgeries would typically be performed in two week periods, all with successful outcomes.

Haddocks also leads a volunteer group for We Care, a faith-based organization that assists more than 200 elderly in need of fellowship in their homes, hospital, or rehab.
