CONCORD — Michael Heffernan has joined New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp as lending compliance officer. In this role, Heffernan will help lead and oversee lending compliance management for Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank and Savings Bank of Walpole.
“We’re happy to welcome Mike to our team,” said Angela Strozewski, executive vice president and senior operations officer of NHMB. “His extensive background in lending and compliance will complement our community banks very well. I look forward to seeing how we evolve with Mike’s oversight and guidance.”

Heffernan comes to NHMB with 15 years of experience in the lending industry, the last three of which in compliance. He earned his bachelor of science degree in economics and finance from Southern New Hampshire University, and resides in Windham.
