WOLFEBORO — Lakes Region Community Developers was awarded tax credits through the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority to develop Harriman Hill Phase III, a workforce housing project in Wolfeboro. Meredith Village Savings Bank supports their efforts with a $25,000 tax credit purchase.
The project, expected to be complete in fall 2026, will include 30 units of rental housing with 27 designated as affordable, ensuring access to stable homes for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. Five of these units will be reserved for individuals with developmental disabilities.
“Access to safe and affordable housing is fundamental to the well-being of our communities, and the need only continues to grow in the Lakes Region,” said Executive Director of LRCD Carmen Lorentz. “We are dedicated to addressing the housing challenges faced by local residents, and the Harriman Hill Phase III project represents a significant step forward in creating opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.”
