MEREDITH — Meredith Village Savings Bank recently appointed Jessica Ruel to oversee the Bank’s new North Conway Office at 1498 White Mountain Highway as branch and business development manager. Construction is currently underway with an expected opening in late 2024 or early 2025.
Ruel currently serves as the branch and business development manager in MVSB’s Laconia office and will transition to North Conway as construction progresses. In this role, she will support the location’s customers, employees and community involvement initiatives, and work to nurture and cultivate relationships in the Mount Washington Valley.
“Jessica’s experience and leadership will be such an asset to our new North Conway team and to our customers as we grow our presence in the community,” said Senior Vice President and Senior Retail Banking Officer Stacy Trites. “We are confident she will thrive in this role and we are very proud to recognize her talent with this new opportunity.”
“The supportive and caring culture at MVSB has allowed me so many opportunities to grow and further my career – and the bank’s genuine commitment to bettering our communities is a value that brings added meaning to my work each day,” said Ruel. “I am excited for this new opportunity and to connect with our new neighbors in the Mount Washington Valley.”
Ruel joined MVSB in 2001 as a teller at the Center Harbor Office and has been promoted several times in her tenure with the bank. Her past roles include customer service representative, assistant head teller, certified branch services representative, teller supervisor, branch services manager, and branch and business development manager.
She is a class of 2023 graduate of the Leadership Lakes Region program and is currently attending the New England School for Financial Studies. She volunteers with the Laconia Rotary, Granite United Way and serves on the Board of Directors for 603 United. She resides in Sandwich with her family and enjoys deep sea fishing, gardening and supporting local community events.
