HK Powersports wins national award for outstanding achievement

LACONIA — In a national gathering featuring dealers from 72 countries and roughly 1,700 powersports and marine partners, HK Powersports was singled out as National Dealer of the Year in the U.S. for Sea Doo watercrafts. The award was recently given out by Club BRP 2025 in California.

HK Powersports has been in business since 1976, selling, and servicing seven brands of Powersports products in NH. In 2003, HK took on all BRP products when its owners bought out another local dealer.

“Thanks to our location on Lake Winnipesaukee and surrounding lakes in the Lakes Region, we always have been very successful selling personal watercraft, and have grown our Watercraft business since adding Sea-Doo 21 Years ago,” said General Manager of HK Powersports Lisa Miles. “We have a relationship with our customers and offer pick-up and delivery, service, and storage for our Watercraft customers, which makes a huge difference.”

Once a year, BRP announces regional dealers of the year at its annual Dealer Business Meeting. HK Powersports was notified in advance that for the second year in a row, it was getting awarded Regional Sea-Doo Dealer of the Year — the region is from Florida to Maine. There are many areas in the region that sell watercraft year-round when HK faces a much shorter sales season.

Miles said her team was totally surprised that they were chosen as National Dealer of the Year for Sea-Doo, for the whole country. BRP’s criteria is sales volume, parts and accessories volume, customer satisfaction scores, HK Powersports achieved dealer certification level and warranty claim history.

“We attribute this award to our finely tuned process in our stores, in all departments, and our level of customer service for our watercraft customers,” said Miles. “If it wasn’t for our loyal customers and our hard-working staff, we wouldn’t be able to achieve this recognition.”
