FRANKLIN — The city of Franklin and the Franklin Falls Business Group are partnering to host a business fair on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Franklin Lodge of Elks, 125 South Main St.
Hearty hors d’oeuvres will be available. “This is a great opportunity for area businesses to network with each other in a way that can build community engagement,” said Franklin Mayor Jo Brown.
All businesses in the area are invited to attend, to meet other businesses as well as potential employees or students interested in an internship or job shadow opportunity.
The Lakes Region Community College and staff will present information about its programs. Joseph Doiron, the state director of workforce development, will be on hand to provide information about assistance programs helping students move forward toward potential careers, as well as information for local citizens looking to return to the workforce, especially those who may be facing barriers to employment.
Please email Brown at mayor@franklinnh.org or Valerie Blake at franklinfallsbusinessgroup@gmail.com for more information or to register.
