Cider Bellies to represent NH in Made In America showcase at White House

MEREDITH — Cider Bellies Doughnuts has been selected to represent New Hampshire in this week's Made in America showcase at the White House.

Jessica Stephens, owner and founder of Cider Bellies Doughnuts, will be making the trip to Washington, D.C., with her husband Rob Stephens. Jessica will be making apple cider doughnuts in the White House kitchen and Rob will be serving cinnamon sugar, maple frosted and plain apple cider doughnuts to anyone interested in trying a truly “homemade” New England delicacy.

“By offering each state the opportunity to showcase a Made In America product, President Trump reaffirms his administration’s commitment to further encourage manufacturing in the United States that will further stimulate the economy and create jobs,” a statement from the White House read.

The president, along with Vice President Mike Pence, Cabinet secretaries, members of Congress and other government officials will attend and participate in this event.

Cider Bellies Doughnuts opened up its home base location at Moulton Farm in Meredith in July 2011. The Stephenses say they are especially grateful to John Moulton and his staff for continuing to collaborate with Cider Bellies Doughnuts in a most beautiful New Hampshire farm stand setting. In 2015, Cider Bellies Doughnuts opened its second location in a food truck located at The Common Man Roadside stop on the northbound side of Route 93 in Hooksett. This past May, Cider Bellies Doughnuts joined forces with Rubbin Butts BBQ to open Bellies and Butts in Center Harbor.
