BELMONT — Lakes Region Property Watch has earned accreditation with the National Home Watch Association, a professional distinction that reflects his commitment to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and best practices within the Home Watch industry.

The National Home Watch Association was established in 2009 to develop and uphold industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada. Home Watch is defined as a visual inspection of a home or property to identify obvious issues, providing homeowners with peace of mind while they are away from their primary or vacation residences. All principals of NHWA-accredited member companies undergo background checks and are fully insured and bonded.

Lakes Region Property Watch was founded by James Wilson, a Belmont resident with nearly 25 years of law enforcement and military service, along with extensive experience in investigations, regulatory matters, consulting, and organizational leadership.

Throughout his career, Wilson has worked in environments where attention to detail, consistency, and accountability were essential. His experience conducting investigations and leading statewide operations required disciplined observation, thorough documentation, and a structured approach to assessing conditions and identifying potential risks.

In addition to his professional background, Wilson brings hands-on experience in home building and remodeling. This knowledge provides him with a practical understanding of residential construction, how materials and systems perform over time, and where visible issues may develop.

By combining his investigative expertise with real-world construction knowledge, Wilson brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to Home Watch services, helping homeowners maintain peace of mind while away from their properties.
