GILFORD — The Gilford Community Church has scheduled its next “Gals’ Night Out” for Friday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Bryan Conway, “Just One Man ... An Entire Band” and a dinner will be prepared by Ellie Murphy.
Gentlemen are also invited to enjoy music from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. Tickets are on sale now in the church office.
Organizers will once again be collecting donated items for New Beginnings Women’s Shelter in Laconia. Their current needs are: new pillows, zippered mattress covers, twin size sheets, blankets, comforters, queen size sheets, blankets, comforters, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, disinfectant wipes, toilet bowl cleaner, toothpaste (kids and adults), diapers (Size 5 and 6), baking sheets, pots and pans.
