LACONIA — Registration is now open for the 5th annual Thomas L. DiFonzo Memorial Scholarship Tournament to be held on Monday, Sept. 26. The cost is $150 per person and includes lunch, social hour and prizes. There will also be items for auction. The format is two best balls net out of four on each hole so everyone gets to play their own ball. Team registration and hole sponsorship information and more tournament details are available at the Laconia Country Club clubhouse lobby, pro shop and website.
Melcher & Prescott Insurance Agency is the presenting sponsor, thanks to members Mike Sherman and Bill Bald. Bank of New Hampshire is the luncheon sponsor.
The Tournament Committee is dedicating the Thomas L. DiFonzo Tournament to Roger Gagne. Gagne was a long-time member and a supporter of the DiFonzo Memorial Tournament since its inception.
Early registration is encouraged, as the field is limited to 25 teams.
