Value of a college degree has never been lower; 'free' will make it worse

There’s no bigger roll of the dice than deciding to attend college. The financial risks have become enormous. College graduates still out-earn those without degrees but, the odds of college ”paying off ” have never been LOWER. We can lay much of the cause for this failed outcome on people like self-proclaimed “pundit professor” Scott Cracraft, his peers in the industry as well as administrators and college presidents who have led education off an absolute cliff.

Education is controlled from kindergarten to grad school by powerful unions that have used baseball-bat tactics and threats to explode education costs through the roof for tuition payers and taxpayers while avoiding accountability for the failed outcome college has become economically for so many millions of kids. Ponder these few facts.

The earning power of college graduates has been essentially flat for the last two decades, while the cost of a college degree, under UNIONS, has exploded faster than any service in America. Train loads of money going to the almost exclusive benefit of those union workers in education. Education has morphed to become a SEVEN HUNDRED BILLION DOLLAR, seven-headed, medusa-like monster consumed with SELF INTEREST, with little concern who might be harmed outside its orbit by its actions.

Hundreds of thousands of people are now DEFAULTING on their student debt in the tens of billions of dollars. Many of those people shouldn’t have been allowed within a country mile of any college, based on academic rigor. Even the socialist hugging, Scandinavians don’t offer FREE college to people below the TOP THIRD of academic performers. Why the hell should we promise one to everyone including RICH KIDS? Because Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden need to improve their election chances. Is that your answer? It seems to be for those flying on a political broomstick painted blue.

Almost all student debt is backed by government. We the taxpayers are on the ultimate hook for hundreds of billions in losses in this societal fantasy fanned by the unionized-education-industrial-complex. People who are all 100 percent SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS to the core all aimed to control the public money TAX POT toward them. Education is the only guaranteed winners in this social, political, con-game. It’s not your kid, as millions of parents and students have discovered — too late.

We now have a record millions of people working in jobs with college degrees that DON’T REQUIRE ONE. People with incomes of course that don’t allow debt service repayment. As many millions of jobs as there are in America, it's only a relatively small sliver of them with salaries that allow for college debt to be repaid given the union inspired, six-figure price tag of a college degree. That price assumes a person graduates in four years. Millions DON’T. Millions take SIX or more years. Millions more NEVER GRADUATE at all but they will suffer the economic consequences for decades with lower living standards.

The education-industrial-complex simply doesn’t CARE. Caring and truth telling would require reforms that would not be in their best interests concerning wages, and job security. Surely not for any union management whose first and only concern is HIGHER WAGES for it’s members, while being held responsible as little as possible for outcomes. That’s why we have millions of kids in DEBT up to their eye balls and taxpayers on the hook for educations GREED in the countless billions. Education doesn’t care two craps about exploding costs. They never have.

The Democratic Party and Bernie Sanders want to BURY this American education TRAGEDY with FREE college, while BUYING the votes of the MILLIONS of people whose personal greed is dependent on the education never changing. FREE college assures no one will ever be held accountable for this travesty, while assuring educations costs continue to rise literally unabated and unchallenged as they have for the last 30 years. "Free" will remove all attempts to hold education accountable for such massive failure. The earnings differential and wealth difference today between a college degree holder and one not degreed has never been LESS in American history. That’s higher educations and Scott Cracraft’s gift to you Mr. and Mrs. taxpayer and tuition payer.
