To The Daily Sun,

I want to express my support for Anthony Felch and share my personal experiences of him as a city council member. I deeply value his commitment to open discussions and his dedication to improving our community while at the same time looking out for the taxpayers.

I have had the privilege of working alongside Tony on the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association, the Weirs Action Committee, and the Weirs Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Committee. Through these collaborations, I have witnessed first-hand his unwavering work ethic and his genuine commitment to ensuring the well-being of our city and its citizens.

My first encounter with Tony's effective problem-solving skills was when an associate of mine was facing difficulties with a new home construction impeding their beach access. Talks with lawyers and the HOA getting involved for almost a year, with no end in sight. My associate mentioned getting a councilor involved, and I admit I was initially skeptical. However, weeks later, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Tony had successfully mediated a solution that satisfied both parties.

A year after that, when I raised concerns about the lack of public boat access in The Weirs and other areas of Laconia, Tony immediately engaged with the issue. Despite not being a boater himself, he was eager to understand the problem, particularly the dock width issue that rendered 70% of the existing capacity unusable. He even requested a boat tour with the city manager to gain a first-hand perspective. Eight months later, the docks were completed, and boaters returned to The Weirs, bringing significant revenue to the city and fostering growth for local businesses, leading to increased employment and tax contributions.

Vote for Tony; there is more to do.
