Russ Wiles: Will Zelenskyy allow Trump to save his nation from total ruin?

Volodymyr Zelenskyy declined President Donald Trump's offer for economic security and a potential path for peace. March 4, he announced that he is ready to work with Trump and sign the agreement on minerals and security. Zelenskyy said he does not want an endless war and that Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table.

The minerals deal will provide Ukraine with a United States physical presence there to deter Vladimir Putin. It will give Ukraine the opportunity to rebuild the country and boost their economy. Even with the USA continuing to spend billions more, nothing will change. It will continue to be a bloody World War I trench warfare stalemate. Ukrainian troops numbers are dwindling. Zelenskyy has conscripted older males into this losing war to die. Democrats met with Zelenskyy on Feb. 28, and advised him to reject the terms of the mineral deal.

Zelenskyy apparently wants the war to continue so he can hold onto power and keep USA money flowing into the money laundering operation for him and his cronies. The exhausted and desperate Ukrainian people must be exasperated wondering why their leader refuses to grab the life preserver that Trump has repeatedly offered to him. As I finish this letter on March 4, I can only hope and pray that Zelenskyy will apologize to our leader and "do good service" to save his country from further death and destruction at the hands of one monster named Putin." A corrupt ruler will burn his own nation to the ground ... to rule over the ashes."
