To The Daily Sun,
It's called a "wrap up smear", and Pete Hegseth is about to walk right in to one on Jan. 14.
Think back to Brett Kavanaugh whose only crime was having been nominated to the Supreme Court in Donald Trump's administration.
Roy Moore withstood a media onslaught, lost his bid to defeat his Democratic opponent, and once the very last ballot was accounted for, his accusers and their famous lawyer disappeared.
In a civil society, what right does any one person or political party have to ruin reputations and tell lies about someone for political gain?
Pete may be a bad husband or a bad son, but knowing what we know about the D.C. establishment, is that disqualifying?
I certainly don't think so.
Bob Menendez was indicted for taking bribes in cash and gold bars.
Foreign entities enriched the Biden family to the tune of $27 million while Joe Biden was vice president.
$17 million has been spent on the bad moral decisions of congressmen and senators over the years.
Insider trading is still not banned in Congress even though any one of us would be sent to prison on federal charges.
Fact is Pete Hegseth has over 20 years of military experience and has been deployed multiple times to Afghanistan and other war zones.
He's not just some schmuck we see on Fox News, and that's what the Democratic Party and their friends in the media want readers to believe.
Fact is, Pete's only crime is wanting to bring reforms and an acceptable norm back to the military.
Readers should ask themselves why so many are in such a hurry to ruin the man?
