Richard Littlefield: The rhetoric doesn’t fit the city council crime in Laconia

To The Daily Sun,

There's a question this week I'd like to answer regarding the violations committed by two Laconia City Councilors.

They committed a violation, not a felony or some high crime against this country.

Fact is they are being pushed out and intimidated by people who want a city council in total favor of the mayor.

Let the mayor publicly make examples out of them; he's already gone about doing that. For god sake put away the pitch forks and aggressive rhetoric toward two men who already publicly apologized.

If you want these men out of office then vote them out. Plain and simple.

The rhetoric doesn't fit the crime.

Folks in favor of the hand-picked council should really be worried about for-profit development that is going to continue to price out hard working Laconians in lower tax brackets over the next two years and Laconia's healthcare through Concord Hospital - Laconia.

The mayor and entire council should be held to solutions on those issues for a change.

Issues that really matter.
