To The Daily Sun,

This is in regard to Joshua Youssef's letter of Nov. 19:

For him to call the home where Mayor Hosmer will be residing as "run down" does not sit well with those of us who are residents on Parker Street. True, we live on a street where the homes are very modest, but we know that was not the point of his letter. Perhaps Mr. Youssef could have found a better method of conveying his message.

We welcome Mayor Hosmer and are certain that he will find us all good neighbors.

Editor's note: This letter was updated to include the name of Martha Bissonnette, which was inadvertantly omitted from the version that ran in Saturday's paper.
