To The Daily Sun,
Discrimination and persecution against Christians is frequent in parts of the world. In North Korea, for example, you can be killed just for having a Bible. Yet these Christians still persist in their faith. Over here in America, Christians also face discrimination and persecution by our government, the news media, libraries, Hollywood, activists, etc. Take holidays, for example. In libraries and stores across America there is Santa Claus, Christmas trees, Easter bunnies, Easter baskets, etc. comprising 90% or more of the displays. However, in the dictionary, Christmas and Easter are defined as Christian religious holidays. Aren't libraries supposed to be inclusive and neutral? The Establishment Clause says that they can't favor one religion over another or non-religion over religion. The government allows atheists to dictate the public displays during religious holidays because they are offended by religious displays. How is that logical?
Another example is the promotion and toleration of Pride Month for the LGBTQ to celebrate and the government doesn't place any restrictions on them nor their displays. Atheists also aren't offended and say and do nothing, sometimes even joining in. All other holidays get one day. Don't you see what is going on here? We are being targeted for our religion beliefs. When Target lost billions of dollars for their Pride Month stunt, and Bud Light lost millions for its similar stunt, that should have been a spark to show us we can fight back and win. But has it? If not then why? What kind of witness is it if we won't stand against what is clearly discrimination and persecution on purpose? God is watching and waiting. Why do we worry about offending the worldly with truth and justice and accountability, when Jesus Christ didn't? I don't. Are we Christian soldiers or surrendering prisoners?
