The problem with our public education system is not the lack of funds. There are many issues our education system has to deal with. One of them is the lack of respect. Education starts in the home. Learning about respect starts in the home. The parent should be modeling and teaching about respect to authority. And respect to our education system.
In our country, a child has a right to an education. But they do not have a right to disrupt the class. Teachers, staff and the administration spend too much of their time dealing with kids that do not respect the teacher’s and school’s authority. Consequently, disrupting the class time. This takes away from the other students’ right to an education.
There is a time to disagree with authority. But that time is not in the schools during class time.
