Finally, Kristi Noem is gone. Her spending around $220 million on those ads that featured her encouraging illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave played a role in her demise. Those funds should have been used to support Coast Guard operations. The message of those ads was actually somewhat on target. Too bad they were directed to Hispanic folks but were delivered in English. However, if it helped hasten her exit, money well spent.
Usually, subordinates reflect actions and attitudes of their leader. In this instance, it certainly is true.
