An estimated 35 million people watched the State of the Union Tuesday evening. From my point of view, there is no respectable reason for Democrats to refuse to stand when a 5-year-old girl who astonishingly survived a motor vehicle accident precipitated by an illegal immigrant driving a commercial transport. The victim will never be the same, but need constant care for the rest of her life. A veteran of World War II and the Korean War, now 100 years old, received the Medal of Honor for his heroic air combat, his plane being hit over 200 times. The Democrats sat in their seats while he received his medal. President Donald Trump asked the people in the room to stand up for American citizens first and not one Democrat could stand. Let's be honest.
The Democratic Party sees no reason to stand for the ideals that exemplify this country. They abhor American greatness.
