To The Daily Sun,

I volunteer at the Belknap Mill Museum and was heartbroken to see the vandalism that has just occurred. Three of our windows have been smashed. Why? The Mill has served Laconia so long, and so well. Have readers visited an art exhibit there? Attended a wedding? Perhaps brought their kids to the free musicals during summer programming? Have they taken a class in knitting or felting? Taken the tour with a school group?

The Mill does so much to try to serve the community. If readers do value what the Mill has given, may I ask them to join me in donating to the window repair fund? Our insurance deductible is very high, and is almost as much as the repair. We need help to continue to try to serve Laconia. Please, please go to belknapmill.org to help.
