To The Daily Sun,

HB 2 goes into effect as of January 2026. It eliminates mandatory yearly vehicle inspections, signed into law by the governor earlier this year. Apparently, the rationale is, some other states do not require yearly vehicle inspections and those who do the inspections are ripping off the public. On behalf of Bill Salta at Quick Lane and Buzz, Brian and Lindsey at German Motorsports, I am deeply offended. I would be lost without them. I know I am not alone in this.

HB 2 also insults consumers, implying we cannot find reputable professionals. If readers agree HB 2 will put us all at risk with vehicles that are not sound on our roads and will probably cause our insurance rates to rise, the state website is not user-friendly should they wish to contact the governor and their representatives about this. Carve out plenty of time and be patient.
