Just when the residents of the city of Laconia thought they were finally rid of the divisive and controversial figure of Dawn Johnson, she has once again resurfaced, intent on running for state representative. Johnson, a former school board member, mayor candidate, and state representative, has a history of making inflammatory and hateful remarks, particularly towards the Jewish community.

Johnson's antisemitic views have long been a source of contention in Laconia, with many residents expressing outrage and disgust at her rhetoric. Her past actions, including sharing conspiracy theories about Jewish people controlling the media and banking industry, as well as minimizing the Holocaust, have been widely condemned as hate speech.

Despite facing backlash and calls for her resignation in the past, Johnson seems undeterred in her quest for political power. This latest move to run for state representative has once again polarized the community, with many expressing concern over the potential impact of her candidacy on the city's reputation and values.
