To The Daily Sun,

I am pleased to offer my strong support for the reelection of Laura Lapointe as Belknap County register of deeds.

Laura is a hands-on leader who is deeply involved in the daily operation of the registry of deeds. She regularly works 40 or more hours each week in the office, managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that the registry’s responsibilities are carried out effectively and professionally. Her service extends well beyond simply holding elected office: she is consistently present, engaged, and personally invested in the success of the registry.

She regularly attends Belknap County commissioners’ meetings and delegation meetings, participates in the county budget preparation process, and contributes to important registry initiatives.

The registry of deeds is an office where accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and accountability are essential. Laura leads the office with accuracy and precision Her commitment to document restoration further demonstrates her dedication to preserving these vital public records for future generations.

She understands that effective public service requires accuracy, accountability, confidentiality, and responsiveness. Laura works diligently with her staff, county officials, municipalities, attorneys, title professionals, and members of the public to ensure that the registry fulfills its responsibilities with professionalism and care.

I have personally observed Laura’s dedication to her position, and I believe she represents the kind of committed public servant Belknap County deserves and expects. Her hands-on leadership, active participation in county government, contribution to the budget process, and careful stewardship of public records speak clearly to her professionalism and effectiveness.

I am proud to endorse Laura Lapointe for reelection as Belknap County Register of Deeds. Her experience, work ethic, accuracy, and dedication have served Belknap County well, and I respectfully encourage voters to support her continued service in this important office.
