To The Daily Sun,

Once again, a frequent writer to your newspaper is quoting an obscure website, which purports to compress articles and reports for the ease of its readers. That website was created by a self-confessed right-wing person. The frequent writer belongs to an organization criticized by the Pope as moving toward the far right. I say this not as a criticism, but that I was taught to "consider the source."

Is the compression of these subjects cherry picking? Accordingly, an example of intentional cherry picking data is when a person or organization mentions only a small number of studies out of all studies published on a certain topic, in order to make it look as if the scientific consensus matches theirs. How much smaller can you get than one tiny source?

Further, the writer has previously said that he has compressed further an already compressed story, e.g. "For those without internet access, here is the judgement summary in the first paragraph." So, is this cherry picking the already-picked cherry? Just asking.
