Gunstock is a popular recreation area. It has been a staple of the community for decades, providing residents and visitors with a wide range of activities, from skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking and zip-lining in the summer. Gunstock is not just a leisure destination but also an economic asset to the area, bringing in tourism revenue and creating jobs for locals.

Despite its importance to the county, there are certain individuals who seem intent on interfering with Gunstock’s operations. Reps. Barbara Comtois, Paul Terry, Nikki McCarter, Lisa Smart, and the Norm Silber clan have been vocal critics of the recreation area, calling for changes that would likely have a negative impact on its ability to serve the community. Their attempts to target Gunstock are misguided.

What these Free State libertarian individuals fail to realize is that Gunstock is a vital part of the local economy, bringing in revenue from visitors who patronize the ski slopes, zip lines, and other attractions. By supporting Gunstock, the county is actually investing in the community’s future, creating jobs, and boosting the economy.

Furthermore, Gunstock provides valuable recreational opportunities for residents of Belknap County. For many families, Gunstock is a place to gather and enjoy the outdoors, whether it be skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer.

By attacking Gunstock, these individuals are essentially robbing the community of a beloved resource that brings people together and promotes healthy, active lifestyles.

It is clear that these individuals do not understand the true value of Gunstock to Belknap County. Their misguided attempts to dismantle the recreation area are not in the best interests of the community and must be stopped. These individuals need to leave Gunstock alone. Make sure you remember these names during the next election and vote them out.
