To The Daily Sun,

Today I am proud to announce my candidacy for state representative for District 6 (Gilford, Gilmanton and Ward 2 Laconia). My husband and I reside and work here in the Lakes Region and our four spirited children attend school at Gilford Middle School, as well as preschool at Holy Trinity and Laconia Christian Academy.

I am running because I believe in protecting the values that make our state a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I'll be the representative that promotes opportunity, protects our freedoms, and preserves the values we cherish here in Belknap County for generations to come.

I have a proven history of listening and responding to the concerns of our community. In 2022 my commitment to the well-being of Belknap County was put to the test through my service on the Gunstock Area Commission. Character matters in public service and decisions should be based on principle and common sense-rather than politics. The fact that Gunstock is self-sustaining and undeniably thriving as my first term is nearing completion, is a testament to the fruits of leading with conviction and good intentions.

If voters' idea of responsible leadership involves someone who can actually stay awake when the house is in session, who is tirelessly invested, committed and passionate, then I humbly ask for support.

Thanks, and I look forward to the opportunity to represent the values of District 6 in Concord.
