To the Daily Sun,

The growing number of car accidents is once again in the news. And as usual, the same theories about what's causing it are being floated: speed, distracted driving and impaired driving. Anyone who drives on the roads knows what most of it is caused by: a combination of speed and aggressive driving.

Why is aggressive driving almost never mentioned? When people get on drivers' tails if they're not speeding when they want to, or do even worse things like passing them in the same lane, getting close enough to side swipe them, this is not "distracted" driving.

The cops drive the roads during their off hours when they are not in a patrol car. They see what's going on. Why do we all have to pretend we don't know? And who decided the truth has to be denied?
