To The Daily Sun,

According to Merriam Webster dictionary, among other synonyms, one finds that "abort" means "to stop, to terminate, to end," or more simply put in regular English, "to kill." An abortion kills an infant in its development. The "My body, my choice" statement is just that, a choice. A choice to have a baby or to stop the baby's ability to thrive and grow. Would one say it is OK to abort at one month into a pregnancy, or at four months into a pregnancy, or at nine months into a pregnancy, or at a month after a baby is born?

It is not OK to kill an infant, whether the baby has been born or not. Once a woman is pregnant, she has a baby, and the stages of development are gradual but definite, and at no point is it OK to terminate that child.

Life is precious.
