'Global warming' is an attempt to advance socialism

Well! There you go again, Mr. Russ Wiles. Your letter printed in the Laconia Daily Sun, Saturday, Aug. 17, most likely stepped on a hornets’ nest. Disagreeing with Liberal Fascism can bring ire upon you and surely name-calling has shown to be a modus operandi of the Left. Thank you for your time and energy in setting the record straight on Global Warming, um, I mean global cooling, ah, climate change. Who knows what’s next on fear mongers’ agenda?

Here is a list of books I have read that support Mr. Wiles’ Global Change Thesis:

1 “Taken by Storm” by Dr. Ross McKitrick. Essex and Mckitrick offer a scientifically sound argument that is against the mainstream. Anastasious Tsonis, professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences Group, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

2 “The Great Global Warming Blunder” by Dr. Roy W. Spencer, who is a research scientist at the University of Alabama, formerly a senior scientist for climate studies at NASA. “Dr. Spencer explains the key aspects of global warming physics and makes a strong case that the satellite data of the past ten years are are at odds with central tenet of alarmist dogma.” Will Harper, Professor of Physics, Princeton University. 

3 “Heaven and Earth” Professor Ian Plimer, School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, The University of Adelaide. Author of 120 papers and seven books. “We live in a time when the methodology of science is suspended. Reactions to human induced global warming based on incomplete science can only extraordinarily costly, will distort energy policy, and will make the poor poorer ... in the case of the effect of CO2 on climate, the correct solution to the non- problem of CO2 is to have the courage to thoughtfully do nothing.” Dr. Plimer is the recipient of many prestigious awards in his field.

4 “Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science” by Tim Ball, holds a PhD in Climatology from Queen Mary College, University of London. “The CO2 climate hysteria in Germany is propagated by people who are in it for lots of money, attention and power.” Meteorologist Klaus-Eckart Puls.

5 “The Deniers” by Lawrence Solomon. “Dr. Antonino Zichichi, one of the world’s foremost physicists, former president of the European Physical Society, who discovered nuclear antimatter, calls global warming models “incoherent and invalid.”

6 “Environmentalism Gone Mad” by Dr. Alan Carlin, Sierra Club Activist who discovered a Radical Green Energy Fantasy. Dr. Carlin documents the dysfunction of the modern environmental movement, demonstrating the need for a major course correction to steer it back to reality. “He came out with the truth. They don't want the truth at the EPA ... we're going to expose it,” Sen. James Inhofe on Dr. Carlin’s comments to the EPA in 2009. The EPA's response was to suppress Dr. Carlin’s comments, impose a gag order on him and forbid further EPA-sanctioned work on climate.

7 “Climate Change & Global Warming Exposed ... hidden evidence, disguised plans” by Andrew Johnson. A good book that shows how the alarmists have been manipulated by the U.N.

8 “Why Scientists Disagree About Global Warming” by the NIPCC (nongovernmental international panel on climate change). 

9. “Inconvenient Facts, the science that Al Gore doesn’t want you to know” by Gregory Wrightstone. A geologist with 35 years’ experience. His book comes from government sources, peer-reviewed literature or scholarly works. The information likely will challenge your current understanding of many apocalyptic predictions about our ever-dynamic climate. “You will learn that the planet is improving, not in spite of increasing CO2 and rising temperature, but because of it. The very framework of the climate-catastrophe argument will be confronted with scientific fact.” Professor Morner calls climate alarmism “the greatest lie ever told” — bear witness not unto the truth but unto the party line, which they have branded as “the overwhelming scientific consensus”; a consensus which, as Mr. Wrighstone explains with admirable lucidity and concision in these pages, does not exist and would have no scientific relevance even if it did.” Contents include: Greenhouse Gases — Our Security Blanket: Carbon Dioxide — The Foundation of Life, The Food of Plants. In the last four ice ages, the CO2 level was dangerously low, 190 ppm. This is alarming because, below 150 ppm, most terrestrial plants cannot exist. 

“Climate of Fear” by Dr. Moore. “Does science support the proposition that manmade greenhouse gases are leading to climate change? In fact, the evidence for the claim that the earth has grown warmer is shaky: the theory is weak and the models on which the conclusions are based cannot even replicate the current climate.” Frederick Seitz, past president, National Academy of Science, states, “Dr. Moore has emphasized two major points: first, the rise in carbon dioxide will probably benefit agriculture and mankind in general. Second, developing nations’ attempt on cutting back on the use of fuels may seriously cripple their economy.” My thoughts: That's the idea.

“Climate Change Reconsidered II — Physical Science” Center for Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global change. Over 900 pages of data and facts. The Earth has fluctuated for centuries.

“Climate Change Reconsidered II” — Biological Impacts. Over 1,200 pages of data and science refuting global warming alarmists by Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC). Dr. Craig D. Idso, Ph.D. in Geography. Dr. Sherwood B.Idso, Ph.D. in soil science. Dr. Robert Carter, a stratigrapher and marine geologist. Dr. S. Fred Singer, Ph.D. in physics from Princeton University. These scientists are highly acclaimed in their field. 

No, there is no consensus on global warming. It’s the newest hobgoblin used to advance socialist control over the masses.
