Donald Lockwood: Instead of helping at home, Biden administration sends oil barrels overseas

I would like to add some pertinent information about the release of millions of barrels of oil from the U.S. Strategic Oil reserves, which has already been reduced to the lowest level in 40 years, by the Biden directives. Both Sen. Maggie Hassan and Rep. Chris Pappas have openly bragged about “pushing” Joe Biden to release more oil to “reduce our price at the pump,” to quote from Pappas at his recent debate with Karoline Leavitt.

The important information that they are not telling us is that this oil is not guaranteed to be sold to an American refinery at all. Instead, it is up for sale at auction to the highest qualified bidder. This process has resulted in over 5 million barrels, since April, being sent overseas to European and Asian nations. This includes 590,000 barrels purchased by Unipec, the trading arm of the China Petrochemical Corp., which is wholly owned by the Chinese Communist government. This oil was sent to China and not much help at our pumps.

This is an obvious political ploy to buy your vote without any concern for the actual reason that these reserves were saved in the first place. I don’t have to make this up. It is readily available online. Check it out before you thank them for taking care of us.
