Dick de Séve: We'll be sending this pathetic little man back to live under his rock

To The Daily Sun,

So, it's freedom, private property and "virtue" that defines American "exceptionalism?" Does that include the 400 year suppression of black people's rights and the unfettered theft of their private property and their lives? Does it include the use of unidentified "military" units on our nation's streets, units that we called "little green men" when the Russians used them to invade Crimea? Does it include a resident in the White House who doesn't understand, much less believe in, the Constitution or the separation of church and state? Does it include the destruction of decades of efforts to enhance and protect America the Beautiful from the ravages of uncontrolled development and pollution?

That's not the American exceptionalism that I and many, many others intend for this nation. Come November, we will vote in massive numbers to send this pathetic, weak little man back to the rock from underneath which he came, and then we can begin the huge task of healing this nation and putting it on the path to where the words "liberty and justice for all" actually mean what they are meant to mean!
