To The Daily Sun,

While walking around town lately, I have noticed colorful posters put up in Laconia announcing a Bipartisan Forum hosted by the UUSL church Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Belknap Mill from 7 to 9 p.m. This is just what voters in Laconia need, an opportunity to see and listen to all the candidates running to represent Laconia in the House in Concord.

Members of the audience will be able to submit questions about local issues and hear responses from all the candidates.

Liz Tentarelli from the New Hampshire League of Women Voters will be the moderator. The UUSL church is hosting the forum as a service to our community to facilitate positive interaction and discussion like we used to experience when solving problems in Laconia. We are better together, talking with one another, and have more in common than we rarely take the time to realize. I hope you join me in attending this important community event.
