To The Daily Sun,
In regards to Mr. Mark Weinreb’s zoning letter to the editor of the Aug. 26 issue ...
In the election of ’54 in Cuba, Fulgencio Batista’s opponent Dr. Ramón Grau San Martín, “A physician with a peculiar sense of humor,” went all over the island telling people to vote, vote, vote. “A vote not cast is a vote for Batista.” Etc, etc, etc. (Sounds familiar, doesn't it?) Only to, with just days remaining, suddenly change his tone and began calling on the people to boycott the election because it wasn’t “fair,” wasn’t “honest” etc. ... What he actually meant was that A) It was going to be played strictly by the rules with no chicanery no shenanigans allowed; and B) The polls were in and he was heading for a total skunk. Ergo, he wasn’t gonna play because he wasn’t going to win. So there.
For over 20 years now, the Democrats have done everything they can to make a farce out of elections in order to perpetuate themselves in power. And now they’re bent all outta shape because Mr. Donald Trump is making sure that from now on our elections are done by the rules and since the Democrats know they can’t win by playing by the rules, they’re saying “No fair.” Elections, to Democrats, are fair only when they result in a win for them.
Mr. Weinreb isn't fooling anyone.
