To The Daily Sun,
On Saturday, Sept. 19, while paying my shopping, a gentleman behind me at the register reached over and inserted his credit card to pay for my groceries. Out of nowhere, I realized this was happening. If they are reading this paper, they know who they are. I was completely taken by surprise and overwhelmed. I cannot express the emotions I felt for such a kindness.
I asked if I could do something for them, maybe a cup of coffee. They mentioned they like breakfast and named a couple spots they frequent. Unfortunately i was so taken aback, I cannot remember where these breakfast places are. If I ever have the occasion to run in to them, I would gladly treat them for breakfast.
Again, I am in awe, and want people to know that kindness is still out there. Thanks so much for such a generous gesture. Thanks again, there are not enough words.
