To The Daily Sun,

The whole idea behind SB 2 is that it makes voting more convenient. Voting should be convenient, but it also needs to represent the will of the people and be considerate of the facts. Just like everything else, there is a price for convenience. Rather than endure a parliamentary event called Town Meeting, it's drive-thru voting. Like a drive-thru restaurant.

Except that on your way to the pickup window (polling station) you notice signs advocating for something different on the menu and advising that some of their stuff is just plain bad. As you are listening to the radio, social media discussions of the menu range from the outrageous to the disgruntled and menu prices are charted and analyzed ad infinitum.

As you approach the order window there are things that you question, but the voice in the order box doesn't really explain the difference and you don't really have time. So, you order (cast your vote) based on a jumble of considerations not really knowing the facts. Drive through democracy.

I’ll take Town Meeting, please.
